Formal Offer of Contract

A contract is formed once a customer makes an offer by placing an order and we accept this offer by sending back a confirmation email. PayPal will confirm payment has been taken by emailing you, but an email also needs to come from Designs on Cushions before the contract is legally an acceptance of a customer's offer. This allows us to check availablility of our stock of uniform and whether we are able to make up your cushion within a stipulated time eg in time for a birthday or Christmas.

Refunds and Returns

We hope that you will be delighted with your cushion, but if for any reason you are dissatisfied, simply contact us to arrange returning the item in an unused and resaleable condition in original wrapping within seven working days for a full refund. We will want to know why you are dissatisfied with your cushion as feedback can be used to improve our service and products. Please note that in these cases we do not reimburse return postage costs.

If, in the unlikely event we have made an error with the personalisation we will refund postage and make up a replacement. If, on receiving your cushion, you realise you gave us incorrect information for the personalisation (for example, the date your child started his school), please don't worry, we can fix this. Contact us by emailing info@designsoncushions.co.uk.

We charge £15.00 plus return P & P; you will need to pay postage to return the cushion to us. Likewise, if you realise when you receive your cushion that you've forgotten to ask for a piece of uniform to be included, for example a house polo shirt, or you decide you would like to change a piece of uniform, as long as the piece is surrounding the central square we can do this for you. The charge for doing this is £10.00 plus return P & P. This does not affect your statutory rights.

We send out emails to let you know when your finished cushion is posted by us and the likely day you should receive your parcel. Please ensure you give us a delivery address where someone is able to receive the cushion or instructions for the postman to leave it with a neighbour. We cannot accept responsibility for cushions being left out in the rain or loss of cushions due to mis-direction. In the unlikely event that your cushion arrives damaged we will arrange a refund or replacement for you and reimburse the cost of returning the item we have requested back.

To return items please use the contact form. We can then investigate your request and contact you to arrange/confirm details.
